ᐅ Garden irrigation using a second pump in the heat pump’s absorption well / suction well

pwildeHello,
I have a groundwater heat pump and am considering whether I can install a second pump in the well for garden irrigation.
The question is whether I can install this in the infiltration well located in the garden. Or is it possible to run a pipe or hose outside and use an external garden pump? However, I was advised against using the infiltration well, as it would only be suitable for the extraction well. A pump in the infiltration well would draw in too much dirt, sediment, or similar. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with this?
Unfortunately, the extraction well is on the other side of the house, so it is not an option. 🙁
And one more thing... how do you get the hose out of the well? The cover doesn’t have an opening?
Maybe someone here has found a solution.
Thanks to you all.

With a suction well, it really depends on how much it can supply and how much your heat pump requires. So whether there is enough water for two pumps at all.
How much water could you actually draw from the well per hour? That alone could be a limiting factor.
Without a filter, nothing will work. So you would need to clean it regularly as well.
What is the water quality like?
Why not connect directly to the suction well? What is the issue with running the pipe or hose around the house?
There are several options for the pipe installation. Usually, it is routed underground to the well or cistern. However, there are also lids with pipe feed-throughs. If you are reasonably handy, you can create the feed-through yourself.
It is better to use a submersible pump for the well. Suction pumps are not suitable for this purpose.
