Hello, all my acquaintances already have one of those fully automatic coffee machines, and now I am considering buying one as well.
How much should I expect to spend, and what features should I pay special attention to?

Best regards, Window

I get my coffee for 25 €/kilogram. 😉

You’re getting a good deal there. 😕

The average Nespresso capsule costs around €0.40 and contains about 5 g (0.18 oz) of coffee.

That means 200 capsules of 5 g (0.18 oz) add up to 1 kilogram of coffee, costing around €80.00.

So then the Jamaica Blue is already included. Well, I was exaggerating about Kopi Luwak—it’s actually even more expensive... 😉

Best regards,

Dirk (who doesn’t drink either of these varieties... 😀 )

This calculation doesn't really add up. One kilogram of Jamaica Blue Mountain currently costs nearly €80. I get my coffee for €25 per kilogram.;)

I pay €18.00 per kilogram and think that’s already quite expensive 😉

But not for capsules, right? 😱 😱 😱

No – for a kilo of beans 😀

I find the calculation that I pay about 20 cents for a tasty coffee from the capsule machine nicer. 😀
