ᐅ Front Door Monitoring with an IP Camera at the Entrance – Any Ideas?

I am currently at the start of taking over my parents’ house.
As part of this, some modernization work will be done on the house, which is over 35 years old.
For example, the intercom system.
An old Siedle Vario is installed, which will be replaced by a modern system.
However, I would like to have a camera at the front door. The Siedle system seems either too limited or too expensive to me.
So the idea is to solve this with an IP camera at the entrance (I have already researched the legal aspects) and stream the video to a tablet mounted in the hallway.
What have you installed, and how did you implement it?

To get back to the original question:
Take a look at the company m-e GmbH.
Some of our colleagues bought their system there and are very satisfied. I believe it costs around 500€ with 2 indoor stations (around 530 USD).
Price-wise, it’s probably significantly lower than Gira, Siedle, B-J, and others.
