Hello,
I will most likely install one of the Ekey systems. A friend of mine has one, and it works very reliably for him. I will also get it separately, not together with the front door. This is because the manufacturer Groke provides a wired connection between the fingerprint sensor and control unit, but it is only for power supply. The actual data is transmitted wirelessly.

Because with ekey, there are really big price differences between the models haha 🙂

Which model exactly does your friend have? I’m not sure which exact model he has. It also depends on whether you want it surface-mounted or flush-mounted, and if it needs to be compatible with a specific manufacturer of door intercom systems or switch series. At the moment, I don’t know which one I’m considering either. You also need to decide whether you want to open only the front door or use different fingerprints for other doors, like a garage door. Or if you want an RFID chip. There are quite a few other things to consider as well. I’m not sure if the pure fingerprint scanners vary much technically between the different models.
