I have another question. As I mentioned before, our construction start is delayed. Our company wants to make up some time so that we can move in by late summer / autumn. They plan to use fast-drying screed. The construction company will cover the costs. Does anyone have experience with this type of screed? The construction time is shortened by 4-6 weeks because this screed dries in 3-4 days. Are there any disadvantages?

Thank you very much for your helpful answers!

We have this type of screed in our house. As laypersons, we did not notice any disadvantages. The screed is more expensive and contains chemicals to speed up the curing process. In our case, there were no cracks. So, according to the screed installer, apart from the price, there are no disadvantages.

Thank you for the response. I have also read about the chemicals and that they supposedly do not cause illness.
