Hello everyone,

We have purchased a condominium that is currently under construction. Today, we visited the site again to check on things. We noticed large stains on a wall that faces our rooftop terrace. There was a significant amount of water standing on the terrace for an extended period... neither of us has any experience, and incomplete knowledge won’t get us far.

So my question to you is: is this normal or a cause for concern? Could this lead to mold on the walls in the worst case, or is there no reason to worry? What do you think?

I would be extremely grateful for any feedback!!!

Many thanks in advance...

Best regards,
Verena

You might find the green forum more suitable for this. I personally cannot assess it. When in doubt, have a building expert come (they can also take a look at everything else at the same time) – this usually proves worthwhile.

Is it an attic or a penthouse floor?

The interior work already looks quite advanced. Is the exterior facade completely finished? And could you please post pictures of the wall from the roof terrace?
