William20176 Aug 2018 12:40Thank you for your responses.
What I don’t need from the offer
- Network outlets and cables (Wi-Fi or powerline adapters should be sufficient, right?)
- Intercom system – we live in a village with 200 residents. Isn’t just a doorbell enough?
- Satellite system – this is already installed on the roof
- Heavy-duty electrical connection for the barn (15m (50 feet) away)
Should all the old cables be removed?
We would like solar thermal panels on the house roof. Are these installed before or after the electrical system?
Regards

readytorumble6 Aug 2018 12:46Regarding the network:
Today’s data volumes can only be partially transmitted via wireless or powerline communication. Live TV already no longer works reliably this way. Therefore, I strongly recommend wired LAN connections.
In my opinion, an intercom system can be skipped in a single-family house.
You need to be aware of high-voltage power. Equipment like a car lift, plastering machine, crane, or similar requires high-voltage power. If you are sure you won’t need such equipment, then you can save on it.

William20176 Aug 2018 12:49Okay, thanks. Can someone recommend an electrician who might be able to do this work in the Simmern (Hunsrück) area?
