ᐅ Any experience with the Cisco SG250X-24P-K9-EU switch?

Hello everyone,

I am considering using/acquiring a managed switch for the future home network.

In my opinion, it should meet all necessary requirements: Layer 3, routing, IGMPv3, VLAN without a router...

Does anyone have experience with this device or any other comments?

Best regards

So, how does the story end? I also find the SG350X-24/48P quite appealing...

Since the 250 series covers everything, I never took a close look at the 350 series.
If I find a good deal, I’ll get a 250. Otherwise, it will come down to a Ubiquiti Edge.
Netgear also has some options with PoE and Layer 3, but they are viewed very critically in the A............ forum, which makes me skeptical.

Here is a brief update. I now have the Cisco SG250X-48P on hand. Conclusion: Magenta TV works “out of the box” in the initial test setup. Further tests will follow, but everything seems to be working perfectly.

Next update:
Nano HD connected, IGMP snooping enabled, all mobile devices routed through the Nano, as well as the server, workstation, and Magenta receiver connected to the Cisco switch. So far, everything is working.
This is what the test setup looks like right now xD

Nice ... and the AVM little gem is still active just in case the Nano HD ever fails?

No xD
To be honest, only for now, because I’m just testing the setup. Once I know everything is working, it will be put away until we move into the house.
Even if the volume is okay, it’s not really necessary in the apartment.
