Hello,
I am considering building a semi-detached house and already have a plot of land for it. Due to the location of the plot and the development plan, only a semi-detached house is possible, where the division runs along the roof ridge.
Now my question is, does anyone know if there is a fundamental reason why this wouldn’t be allowed? So far, I haven’t found a semi-detached house with this kind of division and wonder if I am missing something essential.
Maybe someone here knows more.
Best regards, nordisch

A fairly solid semi-detached house was also built here. It faces the street with its gable end, although this was not required according to the development plan / building permit. The more practical division of the former single-family home plot probably played a major role in this decision. Unfortunately, I do not know the floor plans. Upstairs, there is likely a lot of dark attic space due to the lack of roof windows. This could certainly be improved.
