Sebastian123412 Feb 2023 23:09Hello everyone,
we currently have a double washbasin in the bathroom with two separate hot and cold water connections.
We now want to switch to a single washbasin with one faucet.
To avoid a dead-end pipe, the redundant pipe should be completely removed. However, this would require opening the wall.
Are there other options, for example, connecting both hot water lines and then feeding one line to the faucet? The same with the cold water lines.

I’m currently on my way to work. I can attach a photo this evening.

A 10 cm (5 inches) long dead-end pipe is not recommended.
