Hi
We have a plot of land almost 1400 sqm (15,070 sq ft) in size. About 350 sqm (3,767 sq ft) of it is above the retaining wall. We would like to use the slope to create a sun terrace or something similar and to improve the appearance of the wall. But how? Over the winter, we noticed that the wall absorbs a lot of moisture, so it can’t be plastered. Now we have been thinking about wooden extensions, but that would probably be quite expensive. Do you have any other ideas? The trees will all be cut down during the week, as they block the sunlight. Thanks in advance and best regards

I would especially avoid cutting down all the trees... Why does it always have to be a clear-cut? At least the one on the far right has grown quite straight and nicely.
Is the terrace planned to be below the wall or above it?The trees definitely looked nice in the summer. But unfortunately, we had almost no sunlight because of them. To the west everything is built up, and to the south there were all the trees. In summer, they develop huge leafy canopies that block all the light.
We will have a terrace directly at the house, so below the wall. And possibly another one above the wall to catch some evening sun as well.
