Hello,

This is how my lawn currently looks. Is any action needed regarding the weeds and maintenance? If so, what would be the best way to proceed? Or will the problem resolve on its own?

Thanks and best regards,
Jörg

I mow once or twice a week using a mulching blade. Do I still need to fertilize?

Well, mine looked like that two months ago! I couldn’t get it under control by pulling out the weeds. We don’t have a robotic lawn mower yet.
I bought the Compo weed killer on Amazon, which doesn’t harm the lawn but helped a lot.
I also got a pressure sprayer.

After the vacation, I will fertilize the grass again, and then it will be perfect.

And yes, I know there will be complaints again about how a wildflower meadow is nicer and so on...

A wild meadow is not necessarily more beautiful; some people find it more attractive.

Unremoved thistles, dandelions, and the like have nothing to do with a wildflower meadow. This is simply poor maintenance and nothing else. Weeds.
