ᐅ Crack on the showerhead. What could be a quick fix?

Hello everyone,
is there a simple solution for this crack on the showerhead without having to buy a new one?
This crack keeps hurting my hand and is getting bigger.
Would nail polish be a bad idea?

How about wrapping it with adhesive tape?

The coating is coming off. Sand down the protruding edges and then, if you want, use nail polish. You can give it a try. The costs are manageable. In my opinion, there is no practical way to repair it permanently. Just buy a new one; it doesn’t cost the earth.

At a large discount store recently, there were showerheads with 3 spray settings and a hose for just under 10 euros. I replaced both of my showerheads due to similar defects. I wouldn’t bother repairing them.

Take the opportunity to buy a water-saving showerhead right away.
