Hello everyone, we are planning to get a garden shed this year. Since we still have over 200 roof tiles left from building our house, we are considering covering the garden shed roof with these tiles. What should we keep in mind? Do you have any experience with this? We are thinking of a garden shed measuring 3.33 x 3.10 meters (11 x 10 feet). The side walls are 28 mm (1.1 inches) thick. I don’t know the roof pitch yet, but it is very shallow (according to the catalog image). It is a gable roof. What needs to be considered here?
The roof will certainly need to be reinforced. How can this be done?

If you want detailed information, you will at least need to consult a carpenter. But if you plan to use a prefab kit with 28mm (1¼ inch) walls, it will probably be more cost-effective to cover the roof in the usual affordable way, such as with asphalt shingles or roofing felt or other budget-friendly solutions, because otherwise the preparation for the heavy roof will become more expensive. In other words: the materials might end up costing more than the finished product...
