Our neighbor currently has a company building a garage. They also offer paving work and have given me a quote for our paving project. However, I have no idea how to assess the price. What costs did you have for paving work per square meter? What costs should I ideally expect for paving work? Is there an approximate average cost for paving work?

Thank you

Paving work costs for approximately 100 sqm (1,076 sq ft) are 6,000 plus tax. The price for paving was 17.90 for about 60 sqm (646 sq ft), 11 for about 40 sqm (430 sq ft). Karsten

Thank you for the feedback. I don’t fully understand the second sentence. So you paid €60 per square meter (approximately $65 per square yard) for the paving work, or €72 including VAT.

Were the curbstones, L-shaped stones (if necessary), etc., included in the cost for the paving work?

For us, the paving work cost about 7,000 flat rate for approximately 100 m2 (1,076 sq ft), including the complete subbase made of crushed stone and the paving layer. We used the Heilbronner Antik from Kronimus, size 26.25 x 17.5 cm (10.3 x 6.9 inches).

We therefore paid a total price of 72.00 euros per square meter including VAT, all inclusive with stones, edges, paving details, everything finished.

I need to step in here again!

I’m not quite sure how to evaluate this item myself, since our structural builder already completes the substructure with gravel for all paving work.

What would the cost be if only the crushed stone and labor were to be considered?

At €60-70/sqm (per square meter), I would estimate this based on an approximate area of 180sqm (1937 sqft).
