I have a question.
My property already has electricity. There is an outdoor distribution box from earlier times that is 1.40 meters (4.6 feet) high and 1 meter (3.3 feet) wide, containing my meter and circuit breakers supplying the entire property—small bungalow, outdoor lighting, etc. There are also two heavy-duty power connections inside a solid shed: one red socket and one oval socket. This used to be a holiday camp property from an electrical company.
Do I now need a temporary construction power distribution panel according to VDE and related regulations? Since the bungalow, which had power outlets, will be demolished.
The outdoor distribution box receives power through the main service panel located at the front of the property (a small box with a seal). There is already a meter inside, which will later be moved into the house (utility room). Now, the standard power outlets like Schuko sockets are missing.
As I said, I already have some equipment, and renting a distribution box costs money. Do I possibly not need construction power after all? Since I already have electricity supplied.
What would be the best (most cost-effective) way to proceed?
