Hello, my kitchen will be delivered on 01.06. with a personalized countertop. It consists of 2 panels joined in an L-shape, so quite a classic setup. Can anyone with experience tell me how Ikea prepares this? How do I join the panels together, do I need connectors or something like that?
Thanks in advance.

The required tension bolts are included in the delivery, and everything else you need is provided as well... However, you should still get some silicone.

Best regards

Ok, great, silicone is not an issue. Do I need to drill the holes myself or are they already pre-drilled?

Do you mean the recesses for the screws? Those are, of course, already included...

The bigger problem will probably be the silicone, but you say it works out. I always have trouble with it—it sticks, clumps, and looks terrible. I can manage everything with acrylic, but with silicone? Does anyone have a good tip for me? 😉
