How can I connect the sensor of the complementary light strip with the GRUNDTAL spotlight so that the spotlight only turns on when the light strip activates when the doors open?

When I plug the GRUNDTAL spotlight’s power cable into the light strip’s transformer, it receives constant power. This is exactly what I (or rather my wife) don’t want...
