Hello. Does anyone know if a LAS chimney must be built starting exactly from the floor level? Or could it also be constructed at a height of, for example, 130cm (51 inches)?
Background to the question:
We want to install a fireplace, for example a Camina S17. Our chimney is positioned about 35cm (14 inches) above the wall. If we place the fireplace in front of it, it extends far into the room.
If the chimney could be built so that the fireplace can be pushed against the wall with a connection pipe going upward, we would save those 35cm (14 inches).

yes, it is a LAS (air-flue chimney system). Therefore, the necessary combustion air is also supplied through these pipes.
The section inside the utility room from the boiler up to the ceiling is clad with metal in our case. The pipes run inside.
