ᐅ Can flies enter the house through the mechanical ventilation system?

Hello everyone,
For some time now, I have noticed tiny flies in the bathroom, about the size of fruit flies. At first, I thought they might have come in from outside through the window during air ventilation and removed the flies.
We were away for a few days and kept the windows closed, but there were still some flies in the bathroom. I remove them, and the next day there are more.
So far, there have been no flies in the other rooms, but yesterday I spotted one in the living area, although it could have escaped from the bathroom.
What do you think, is it possible that they are coming in through the ventilation system?
Thanks

I’m not an expert, but to me it looked like a common housefly. The picture is highly enlarged; with the naked eye, you can barely see the wings—they are really very, very small.
These little creatures only appear in the bathroom. There are no plants or fruit there. They were not present during the first approximately 6 months after moving in. For now, I will clean the drains with vinegar and then see what happens going forward.

We had the same situation for a while until I noticed that the bathtub trap, which we never use, had dried out. Now the bathtub regularly gets a small amount of water, and everything is fine.

We had the same briefly until I noticed that the trap of the bathtub, which we never used, had dried out. The drains are always in use; our daughter uses the bathtub for showering.
That’s actually why I first thought of a controlled mechanical ventilation system, since nothing else in the bathroom points to the issue.
We’ll see if it can be fixed by flushing with vinegar.
