diedrei???20141 Aug 2014 21:43Hello everyone,
I have a problem installing a microwave and oven into a Faktum cabinet.
I used the recommended holes 17 and 36, but when installed this way, there is a noticeable gap between the two appliances. Also, the black bottom rail of the microwave doesn’t really cover it, so besides the gap between the shelf and the oven, the white shelf is clearly visible. Visually, it’s not very appealing.
Does anyone know this problem? I can’t place the shelf at 35 because then the oven won’t fit in between.

Thanks everyone!!

Herr rossi2 Aug 2014 21:14Hello the three???,
Is the floor resting on a particle board or a so-called structural board? The particle board has semicircular holes on the sides, the other has holes with white plastic fittings. If it is on a particle board, I would recommend placing a second one on top. If it is a structural board, I would suggest replacing it with a particle board. The latter will raise you by about 1cm (0.4 inches).
Regards, Herr Rossi

IKEA-Experte2 Aug 2014 22:28There are two different types of floor joists used in reinforced flooring. Have you tried both?
