Peter.Huelsen16 Mar 2016 10:41Hello,
I am looking for a manufacturer and, of course, pricing for wine coolers that I can integrate into my kitchen so that the wine cooler is "hidden" behind the kitchen front.
Basically, like a standard built-in refrigerator.
It is important that this is a climate-controlled wine cabinet and NOT just a temperature-controlled cabinet.
I hope someone here can help me.
Many thanks and best regards,
Peter.Huelsen

I don’t quite understand the point. If the cabinet isn’t supposed to have climate zones, what’s the purpose of a wine cooler?
Humidity, storage, and the correct temperature are what give a wine cabinet its function.
That’s why these cabinets are equipped with such features, which wine enthusiasts appreciate.
Otherwise, just use a regular refrigerator and equip it with bottle racks, or look for a cooling unit designed for bottles.
Sorry, I certainly don’t want to lecture you, I just can’t follow your reasoning.

then you didn’t quite understand me. It should be a wine climate cabinet, NOT a wine cooling cabinet.
The installation method should simply correspond to that of a standard built-in refrigerator.

Peter That raises the question for me why a wine climate cabinet, which is intended for the long-term storage of wine (similar to a wine cellar), should be installed in a kitchen. If anything, a wine cooler belongs in the kitchen, as that is where the wine is kept for regular tasting.
A wine climate cabinet can nicely be placed somewhere in a corner, storage room, or basement, since it is usually not opened or used often.
