Hello,
I have a question and hope someone can help me.
I am currently in the process of building my own home and initially wanted to do everything myself. However, several problems have already come up. Everything that could possibly go wrong with the roof construction has gone wrong, and I wanted to ask if anyone has any advice for me.

Hello you two!
I can only agree with pupsis’s statement. I built my roof myself but got advice from a roofer and had them check it occasionally so I could be confident that my house is safe. You can definitely build your roof on your own if you have someone who can show you the best way to do it properly. Try doing it yourself first, and if you still can’t manage it alone, you can always ask for help.

Thanks for your help!
I would prefer to try it myself, especially since I think a roofer will cost a lot of money. You also have to consider that something might go wrong, which would mean even more hours to pay a roofer. I don’t want to invest that much money into my house...

Hey there,
your statement isn’t really correct.
I have had to invest a bit in my roofer, but in return, I got very good quality and can be confident that my roof will last. Whether you make mistakes yourself and end up paying for new materials, or the roofer makes a mistake and you have to pay for an extra day, I think you’re more likely to make mistakes than a professional...

Hello both of you,
I just wanted to share my advice. I built a house about a year ago and hired a professional for the job. Everything went really well with my roof, and I’m very satisfied. I think there are far too many prejudices against tradespeople. They do their work very well, and if you have friends or acquaintances who can recommend someone, I would definitely use their services again anytime.
