We heat our house using a ground source heat pump. The corresponding collectors were buried in the ground in the garden. Now we want to build a wall and are wondering if this would affect the collectors. The wall would be directly above one of the collectors.

There is no place for a wall there. I also don’t understand what purpose a wall would serve in that location. It would obstruct the operation of the ground source heat pump.

Karl-Steffen-114 Oct 2015 14:07I also cannot understand why a wall is supposed to be built exactly there. There is a risk that the collectors could be damaged during construction. Additionally, it would then be impossible to access these collectors. This project is doomed to fail.
