Hello dear forum members,
the title basically says it all.
We are building a KfW 70 house and have decided to install a ventilation system with heat recovery for comfort reasons. Are we required to carry out a blower door test? Or should we do one in order to properly adjust the ventilation system?

The ventilation settings have nothing to do with the test itself... only during the test do different parameters apply because of the ventilation... In my opinion, a clearer way to put it is: for a ventilation system to operate properly and efficiently, higher standards for the building’s airtightness must be met.
