Hello everyone,
our shower wall has small cracks between the tiles. Moisture is seeping into the gap (see photo). What is the best way to address this? Do I need to open up the entire wall?
Thank you very much and best regards,
Stephan

Since we bought it from the developer, I don’t know how long the drying phase was. I was told that repeatedly cleaning the tiles with vinegar-based cleaner damages the grout and makes it porous. That sounds logical to me. Do you have any tips on how to clean the tiles more gently? Thanks and best regards Lemon cleaner!

I use neutral soap. No microfiber cloths, but sponge cloths, a brush, and a leather cloth.
This has worked for 20 years and still does in the new house. 😉
However, I can't imagine that the cleaner alone is the key. My mother-in-law has been cleaning with vinegar-based cleaner for years, and her grout is fine.
