My heat pump is arriving tomorrow. I have the following items on my to-do / acceptance checklist. Is there anything I might have missed or any tips you can share?
Self-check:
Are all radiators equipped with new thermostats?
Have the heat pump operations been demonstrated (red light for underfloor heating, possibly something with the new thermostats)?
Is the flow temperature set to 35°C (95°F)?
Check that the external pipes are well insulated
Request documents:
Commissioning report
Heating load calculation documentation
Noise assessment documentation (if available)
Hydraulic balancing documentation
Warranty certificate / proof
Get verbal confirmation:
Underfloor heating has been flushed and cleaned
Confirmation that the solar thermal system has been drained
Have explained:
How the cooling function works in summer
Maintenance schedule
What impact do the works have on the meter cabinet? Are fuses 5 and 6 free (gas heating / solar thermal)? Which fuse is for the heat pump? -> Test this
