ᐅ Are there construction managers who work based on external building plans?

The background is that we have a friend who is an architect, and we would like to use her services for our house construction. However, since she lives further away, she cannot regularly visit the construction site. Would a site manager be willing to work according to an "external" building plan? How about general contractors? Basically, it would involve the structural shell and interior finishing.

I’m not very familiar with this yet, but I appreciate your recommendation starting from phase 6. We definitely want to do the detailed planning together with the architect, since collaborating with her interior designer friend will likely create synergies that are important for us in terms of cost as well.
Today, I had a phone call with a company specialized in construction supervision. They clearly separate construction supervision from site management, probably also for cost reasons. He casually mentioned that for a cost of 18,000 € per month, they would also provide a site manager. However, this was a statement without reference to specific requirements. The construction supervisor can also be booked there per day/appointment.
We will continue looking for a non-architect site manager 🙂
