Hello, I found your post via Google and am replying because I promised Mr. Beis from Alufenster24 to share my rather positive experience.
We are currently (still) building and expect to move into our new home by August. Contact with Alufenster24 began around January after we had spent some time considering uPVC windows. We planned floor-to-ceiling windows, which would have required a transom in the uPVC version for stability. Since we are building at a relatively high standard and wanted a beautiful façade with a lot of glass, we contacted several local metal fabricators as well as the recommendation from our architect. The inquiry included 28 windows along with roller shutters and 3 venetian blinds. The results were disappointing! Of the 6 companies we contacted, 4 provided quotes. The prices ranged from €58,000 (no-name 70mm (3 inches) aluminum windows) to a staggering €91,000 (Schüco AWS 70.HI) windows.
Because such costs were definitely not accounted for in our budget, my wife started looking for alternatives. That’s how we came across the Alufenster24 website. After a first friendly phone call, we were told to send the architect’s plans and a window schedule by email for a quote. We did that right away. About a week later, we received a quote from our contact person, Mr. Beis. We were initially very surprised because now we had an offer of €49,000 for Schüco AWS 75.SI windows with shading and warm edge spacer bars. Since this seemed suspicious to me, I tried to get in touch with Alufenster24 again. Unfortunately (and this was the only negative point), the initial contact was very difficult. I called several times and was only able to reach Mr. Beis after about 1.5 weeks and 3 calls. He was either out or in meetings. Anyway, despite this, we eventually spoke with him and discussed our building project. Mr. Beis was very friendly, absolutely competent, and immediately understood what we were looking for. He was very helpful in the planning of our windows. (Thanks again for that.)
(To keep it short): After some back and forth and a visit from Mr. Beis to our construction site, it was finally time to place the order. However, we were a little skeptical about the payment terms requiring 50% prepayment, which led us to check things more thoroughly. To make sure everything was legitimate, we contacted Schüco to ask if they knew the company. After about two days, we received a reply confirming that the company albe GmbH, or albe Hellas, is an official Schüco partner. We also checked with consumer protection services to see if there were any negative reports. Since all feedback on this company was positive, we decided to place our order with them. Honestly, even after ordering, we were not fully confident it was the right choice because how could you get windows 40% cheaper than the competition? Well, despite that, everything proceeded smoothly.
The delivery time was stated as 6–8 weeks. Our windows apparently arrived at the Frankfurt warehouse after 8 weeks, but unfortunately, the installation appointment was only available in the 9th week after ordering. On the day the windows were delivered, I was personally at the construction site to inspect them. I must admit, I was still uneasy about whether everything would meet my expectations, especially since we ordered two-tone windows (white inside, anthracite outside) in a special color tone. When the truck was unloaded and I held the first window frame in my hands, I was truly relieved—actually happy! At first glance, everything seemed fine. I couldn’t do a detailed quality check yet because most of the windows were still fairly well packaged. The installation team (three men) immediately started distributing the components and installing the sun protection. By the second day of installation, about 10 window frames had already been fitted. Now the quality of the windows was really visible. I have to say, amazing! I have rarely seen such excellent workmanship. My quality expectations were not only met but significantly exceeded. You could genuinely tell that craftsmanship was understood here. One drawback was the absence of protective film on the profiles, which led to a scratch during installation—I think this could have been prevented. After the fourth day of installation, all windows were installed, and the final adjustment work was done. Here too, it was clear the installers knew what they were doing. After completion (the company had to return once more to install a window that arrived later), I was more than satisfied. It has now been two months, and I find the windows even better and more attractive than on day one. I am truly glad we chose aluminum windows and especially to have worked with Alufenster24. Despite a few minor difficulties, I can highly recommend Alufenster24! For me, this was definitely one of the trades with the best price-performance ratio and the fewest problems in comparison. Everyone who has seen our windows has asked where we got them from. And honestly—who usually asks where windows come from?! To me, that really speaks to having something special.
I hope I could help you and other interested readers.
Best regards, Nordie.

Hello,
I needed windows on short notice (~4 weeks) for a roof extension. I chose aluminum windows from Schüco. The local window installer laughed at me, saying it would take at least 10-12 weeks. At Alufenster24, I quickly got a knowledgeable employee on the phone, and after a brief consultation, he was able to guarantee delivery within 4 weeks. The planning process was also fast, professional, and straightforward via phone and email. And the price was unbeatable!
The windows were delivered after 3 weeks; unfortunately, the truck driver was neither competent nor helpful, but that is not Alufenster24’s fault...
The quality of the windows was flawless. Top quality from Schüco, excellent workmanship. A small rosette needed for mounting the handles was missing but was delivered within a few days. Everything came from Greece, where they apparently are manufactured.
The window sills including connection profiles arrived a few days later, but still just in time.
I installed the windows myself, which was easy with some DIY skills and experience.
All in all, I am very satisfied and can absolutely recommend Alufenster24 (albe GmbH)!
Best regards
Chris

pme-architect10 Jun 2015 14:54Hello,
unfortunately, I cannot share the positive comments about Alufenster24. Based on the feedback from this very forum, I had decided to go with the company mentioned above. However, there is neither communication nor information provided. Inquiries are simply deleted without any response, which only becomes clear after persistent follow-up.
After three months of "begging" for a quote for a few standard windows, I am now giving up disappointed and awarding the contract to a local company. This is unfortunately not what I would call "professional"! What a shame...
