We are planning to buy the Biohort Avantgarde A8 garden shed.
At the moment, the window element is included for free.
Does anyone here have experience with the window element from Biohort?
Would you recommend it?
If the window is open and it starts to rain, would water come in directly, or is it designed so that nothing happens at first?

It’s just a shed, not meant for sitting inside.

FrankChief10 Jun 2024 08:32@kbt09 We are choosing the double door so it can be opened when needed and to allow larger items to be brought inside.
The window is for additional light but mainly for ventilation. Without the window, ventilation would only be possible through opening the doors (besides the standard ventilation since the house isn’t completely airtight).
With the window, you could open both the door and window to create a cross breeze.
Yes, but I’m also wondering if it’s really useful or if there might even be disadvantages, since you can’t place anything tall against the wall.

Jesse Custer10 Jun 2024 09:02I would be carefree:
- The window tilts outward and downward – if rain manages to get inside, it’s well deserved
- It definitely lets in more light
- You can ventilate more easily if a mouse has died somewhere and you want to get rid of the smell
- In an emergency, you can even place something in front of it – as I said, the window opens outward
I wouldn’t even have to ask myself the question – of course with a window.
