Hello,
I have a question for you.
We want to set up a Biohort garden shed where all the gardening tools and bicycles will be stored.
My question is, is it worth installing electricity in the shed, for example to have a light on the ceiling or one or two power outlets to charge batteries?
The question is also how often do you go to the garden shed when it’s dark; probably not very often.

Can you possibly give me a tip on how to get the electrical cable from the garage to the garden shed?
Since it’s a metal garden shed, we can’t just drill a hole. We will probably have to run the cable under the ground, right?

Since it's a metal garden shed, we can't just drill a hole.
We will probably have to run the cable under the floor, right?Exactly, the electrical cable needs to go underneath!F

We didn’t have the electrical panel yet; our electrician installed everything (surface-mounted box and switches, the cables are theoretically visible, but in practice many things hang in front of them — we use these handy hooks from the accessories to make the most of the storage space).
We have our party fridge right next to the power outlet like Lotte, very convenient!
Depending on the location of the shed (was yours not at the back of the property line?), as others have mentioned, an external power outlet is also useful (for Christmas lighting, party lights), and I also recommend an outdoor light with a motion sensor, so you have light when you enter the shed in the dark (sometimes you come home by bike in the evening or need to get a tool or put something away at night). Unfortunately, we didn’t do this and sometimes regret it.
