The weather is expected to turn quite unpleasant, and in some areas, ice rain could actually cause a few power poles to topple. I don’t think this will happen, but just for fun, here’s a question:
How do you prepare for a 48-hour power outage at -5 to -10°C (23 to 14°F)?
It never hurts to think about this kind of situation, even if it’s unlikely.

Well, you should always be prepared for at least a one-week blackout. Gas stove, gas grill, a few bottles of alcohol. Otherwise, just some emergency food supplies. Also wood, etc.
Just put meat and frozen items outside in the snow.Sure, I’ve stocked up on vodka, some adult magazines, and Viagra. Lockout and lockdown can come.Ötzi Ötztaler schrieb:

Yes, it’s a bit concerning... we have a fireplace and a gas grill outside. We could also go to the caravan, which is charged and therefore self-sufficient :p
But I would prefer not to have to try that.
