Hello,

we have purchased a building plot with a slight slope. The plot measures 23x23 meters (75x75 feet) and has a height difference of 3 meters (10 feet) from the street to the boundary point.

We do not want a basement but a ground-level terrace instead.
Now we are considering having living spaces in the lower level.

The idea would be to have the living room/kitchen, etc. downstairs and the bedrooms on the ground floor.

Has anyone implemented this and can share their experience, possibly with pictures?

Street runs north/south

West is at the bottom

Just saw it. With the street to the east and the garden with green strip to the west, you have found a great plot of land. Congratulations! How lucky do you have to be in Bad Mergentheim? 🙂

In this location, a great two-story house can be built. Let the architect handle it.

The street is oriented north/south.
Slope inclines towards the west.

Yes, it is number 8538.
May I join in laughing – what is this about? I don’t see any of this information in the linked development plan. Google Maps confirms the street orientation, but I can’t find 8538 anywhere (???)

The person who found out about 8538 did further research.
But yes, it is not included in the building plan / planning permission.

Feel free to laugh.

Thank you for your advice. I will search the forum. I had no experience with forums so far.

With a 3m (10 feet) height difference over 23m (75 feet), I can easily imagine a split-level design...
I have built one like that myself and am satisfied with it. We need to cover half a story height from the entrance to get to the kitchen, but the kitchen is right next to the terrace.

It's a pity. The project seems interesting.

There is definitely potential to develop something from it. Once you have the first drafts, you can share them here.
