Hi,

maybe a completely unnecessary question: about 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) next to the ventilation pipe there is the electrical cable. I want to connect the lamp there. Does the heat from the lamp affect the ventilation system in any way?

What kind of lamp and what kind of conduit... flush-mounted or surface-mounted?

The pipe is installed flush with the wall, running inside the ceiling, used for supply and exhaust air of the ventilation system. The lamp is a standard 3-light fixture, like those commonly found in hardware stores.

Well, the worst that can happen is that you hit the frame or warm the air around the lamp by one or two degrees Celsius (about 2 or 4 degrees Fahrenheit). That shouldn’t have any impact.

The dust and dirt inside the ventilation system are well illuminated and therefore easier to see .... 🙄
