We have been evaluating options for about 3 months now, and it seems we have found our building partner. It will be a turnkey semi-detached house; one side will be rented out, and I will move into the other.
We have now received a design from our building partner. See attachments.
What ideas or changes would you suggest? What wouldn’t work at all, and what would you do differently?

How is the second half going to be accessed, and where will parking be?
I don’t understand the part about the garages being opposite.
Which half of the house do you want? For how many people?

Which half of the duplex do you want? For how many people? I agree with both questions. Based on the site plan, I assume the floor plans are oriented approximately east-west (?)
