The plan is just roughly put together, without trims. A distance of 210cm (83 inches) between the rows is too much; the kitchen is too far into the living area, that doesn’t work. The plan was created with Sweet Home 3D. The measurements are accurate down to the millimeter. The only thing that might change is the counter, which could become wider. But as I said, before finalizing, it will go to the kitchen showroom.

Many join forums far too late, usually when almost nothing can be changed anymore, and then they are surprised that their dream kitchen cannot be realized.

Wugler197815 Mar 2019 07:56We actually do not want to do without the pantry. It bothers us in our current house. Drinks, paper waste, the recycling bag, and the freezer should all be kept out of the kitchen. Especially because the space is open, we do not want these items in the kitchen.
An alternative might be to rotate the pantry. It would then be 1.3 m (4 feet 3 inches) deeper—which would help with opening the freezer chest—but it wouldn’t be as long anymore.
