Hello everyone,

We have found an apartment in a good location. However, I am worried that the living room might be too dark. The side with the bedrooms is fine.

Does the 3rd floor with the same layout get significantly more light than the 2nd floor?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Yes, it seems you only get the low sun into the room in the evening. However, it could already be blocked again by another house nearby on the west side. A loggia is also covered, so the light first needs to reach the room.

Unfortunately, there is still a missing exposed window on the front in the dining area. Or is one supposed to be installed there according to the third picture?

In my opinion, there is not much difference between the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Child 1 somehow got the short end of the stick with this long hallway that is not usable, and then a small little space at the front...

I’m not really thrilled with the apartment, to be honest.

ypg, I don't think there is a window planned there; it’s more like an alcove (today it’s a bit cozy in there). I also think the apartment won’t be particularly bright...

I’m honestly not that impressed with the apartment *admit it*

That’s exactly what I wanted to point out as well. In fact, probably only about 10m² (108 sq ft) of the child’s room 2 is actually usable.

Is this a new build and are you looking to buy or rent?
I think the lighting design will play a major role in the whole thing. If you haven’t absolutely fallen in love with the apartment and you want to buy, I would suggest continuing to look around a bit more.
