Hello amateur architects :-)

I have a 70m² (750 sq ft) apartment that needs to be renovated.
The utility connections should preferably remain where they are.
It is a holiday apartment intended to accommodate 4-5 people at times.
The wardrobe can be removed if necessary.
The bathroom could be extended to the right into the bedroom according to the plan.
Looking forward to your input :-)

And how large should the sofa be?

A corner bench is also not an option, as the kitchen would then be too short. You need at least 3 m (10 feet) without end panels.

Refrigerator (freestanding?), dishwasher, 50-60 cm (20-24 inches) sink base cabinet, 60 cm (24 inches) base cabinet, 60 cm (24 inches) cooktop, 60 cm (24 inches) base cabinet.

No, it can be a built-in refrigerator.
Of course, I want to spend as little money as possible ;-) Naturally, I could completely renovate the whole place, but for an apartment that is only occupied 5-6 weeks per year, that’s not practical.
Renting it out is also not an option.

Kitchen floor plan: kitchen on the left, counter with three stools, dining table, central table.

Open living room with kitchen, dining table, and TV on the wall, gray walls, wooden floor, large window.

Open kitchen with counter, bar stools, seating area, and dining table near large windows.

I like the idea of having a table by the window!

Really? Not at all for me. I immediately thought of a "kids' table" where the person who misbehaved has to sit and is initially excluded from the life of the room.

I would definitely plan for a countertop workspace in the kitchen. I had that in my previous apartment and loved it! Slightly deeper than usual and always lit by natural daylight. In my case, the window was in a recessed balcony where the countertop was, so I was never bothered by direct sunlight. But having a table in that niche and then another one in the living area wouldn’t be my first choice. With five people, the relatively small dining table in the living room gets crowded, and sitting side by side at the table by the window feels really uncommunicative to me.

I’m referring to the dining table, not the Starbucks counter 😉
