ThePhantom7913 Aug 2012 19:13Hello everyone,
I registered here because I’m quite overwhelmed by the wide range of heating and ventilation technologies available. The options are too many – and you can’t always fully trust home builders either.
So here is our project:
- Single-family house with about 170 sqm (1830 sq ft) of living space plus 85 sqm (915 sq ft) of basement (of which 50 sqm (540 sq ft) will be heated, as it will be used as a wellness area)
- Town villa with a fairly square floor plan
- KfW 70 standard
Our requirements are:
- Energy-efficient heating (geothermal is not possible due to water protection area) → it will probably end up being a heat pump, as I’m not a fan of pellets or oil
- The heating system should not be too noisy or cause constant disturbance
- Ventilation system with the following features:
- Central heat recovery
- Allergy-friendly
- If possible, a small cooling function as well
We are quite confused; our previous preferred home builder offers Viessmann products (Vitocal 322 and Vitovent 300F) – but if we really want something else, that would also be possible.
So my question is: Are there GOOD products that meet my requirements? (Especially the cooling feature doesn’t seem to be very common.)
So far, I have found ventilation systems from the companies Nilan and Tecalor – can anyone share their experience with these companies?
Best regards
