Hello everyone, I recently bought a Billy bookshelf and want to assemble it myself. Since I want to approach the project as efficiently and carefully as possible, I’m wondering: Which tools are especially recommended for assembling Billy bookshelves and why? Are there any specific tools that make the assembly significantly easier or faster? I’m looking forward to your tips and experiences, especially regarding the tools you actually used and found particularly helpful.
In summary, I understand that a cordless drill with torque control, a Phillips screwdriver bit, a rubber mallet, a spirit level, and a soft base for the shelf are useful. Additionally, paying attention to the wall plugs and gently tapping them in with the rubber mallet is important. Have I missed anything essential, or are these all the important tools I should have ready?
