Hello

I need some help. In our new house, we have a room of 60 m² (645.8 sq ft) that includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room, all open to the gallery above. What type of general lighting would you recommend? The room is 11.30 m (37.1 ft) long and 6.00 m (19.7 ft) wide.

Thanks for your help

Hello,
for good lighting, I would recommend halogen lamps. There are fixtures on cables that you can stretch across the room as needed. This way, you can reach every corner and also change the lighting setup whenever you want. Take a look and see if that might work for you!

I would install more small lights so you always have light where you are. If you light it up with halogen, it will be bright everywhere. Especially in such a large room, this quickly feels very cold.

Hello Andy,

I would use recessed halogen lamps if the ceiling construction allows it. Alternatively, you could consider a residential lighting series. I found a nice shop for lamps and light fixtures where you can probably get some inspiration.

Best regards 🙂
