We are currently in the planning phase of a house and have already spoken with several prefabricated house (PH) providers. We are trying to figure out where we can save costs. For example, drywall installation was estimated at €25,000. However, this is only the labor cost. The material will be supplied by the PH company. Now my questions are:
a) What does drywall installation include?
b) How many labor hours can I approximately expect for drywall installation in a house with about 164 m² (1,765 sq ft) of living space?

Personally, I don’t find drywall installation that easy (you learn by trying :mad 🙂. With a labor cost of 25,000€ (about $27,000) I would stay away from it.
It sounds like a lot of work for a professional and a stressful challenge if you try it yourself.
In my opinion, warranty should also be a consideration here. There is no warranty with self-performed work.

Usually, it clearly lists the services included for 25,000€ (about 27,000 USD). If you’re not sure about it yourself, you should either post the quote or send it via private message. But it’s impossible to say generally what services you can expect without seeing the quote.

Are you sure that the 25,000 euros are allocated "only" for drywall construction, or perhaps for more?
