I am currently planning the tiles for our house and am more or less looking for inspiration as well as the do’s and don’ts in the world of tiles.
In general, I understand that different rooms have different requirements.
For example, in the bathroom, slip resistance and slip resistance rating are important, while in the hallway, the abrasion class is more relevant.
I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences and, ideally, pictures as well.

About the wood-look tiles. They are not my thing. If it’s wood-look, then vinyl or laminate. I haven’t seen a tile that I liked for that style. But that doesn’t mean the quality has to be bad. My wife and I have a rather unusual taste for today’s standards. We love earthy warm tones, somewhat Italian or Greek style, dislike gray and concrete looks, and pay close attention to the gradient from darker floors to lighter upper walls. We also have old teak furniture that we combine with new stuff from the elk. K. I also think the tiles will lean more toward anthracite or cream colors rather than wood-look. On the other hand, the vinyl flooring in wood-look is really nice.
