Hello everyone,
I have an unusual question:
Is there anyone within about 100 km (60 miles) of 46325 who has an LWZ 504 system that I could take a look at?
We (my wife, our young son, and I) are planning to install this system in our new build.
However, I’m worried that it might cause noise issues, or that there might not be enough space in the utility room, and so on.
It would be great to talk to someone who has installed a system like this.
Best regards

The heating engineer has apparently finished the calculations.
With a blocking time of 2 hours per day, I would have an annual performance factor of 4.8.
I haven’t seen the calculation yet, but I will once I apply for the subsidy.
Question:
Does anyone use the heat pump for cooling?
Is it possible to cool more than 30sqm (320 sq ft) with it?
I thought we would only cool the 3 bedrooms, which together are about 45sqm (485 sq ft). Especially during these days, I would like to have a cool environment for sleeping -_-

That sounds good. It is important to send the application to BAFA before you sign anything.
If I understand correctly, for cooling the concept is reversed, and instead of warm water, cold water runs through the underfloor heating system. The experiences with this are mixed; you have to get used to a rather cold floor, and it probably won’t lower the temperature by more than 1-2 degrees, since it’s not an air conditioning system. If you only want to cool certain rooms, you would need to shut off the other heating circuits at the manifold.

Hello,
we have been living in our house for about a year now.
So far, we are quite satisfied with the LWZ 504 system.
However, I have a problem.
At the beginning of the year, I installed an external control panel.
But it does not provide room humidity or room temperature readings.
The terminal addresses are correct.
The manuals don’t offer any solution either.
I want to activate the cooling function, but for that to work, this obviously has to function properly.
I have noticed a few things.
According to the system, I have two heating circuits.
But as I understand it, I only have one??? Although I have a ground floor and an upper floor, isn’t it still just one heating circuit?
The system always shows room temperatures as 22.0°C (72°F).
That’s not correct.
Also, when connecting the external control panel, I was not asked to assign a heating circuit.
I have gone through all the menus of the system but I just can’t find any option.
Can someone help me?
Our heating technician is also stumped.
The next step would be to contact Stiebel service, but I wanted to try here first.
Best regards and have a nice evening!
