Hello, we bought a great prefabricated house. Now I keep wondering: how stable is a house like this? We have underfloor heating on the upper floor and have just installed a vinyl floor. Heavy furniture will be moved in soon. Should I be concerned?

Thank you, I suspected that I might get teased a bit here because of my fear. But I would never have bought a prefabricated house if I weren’t convinced about prefabricated houses.
Still, that little devil way in the back digs up all the prejudices and makes me a bit crazy.

Hmm, it’s kind of strange that you buy first and then start thinking about it ...................................................................

For heavy items like the mentioned 2.3 tons, I would be more concerned about the screed at the specific spot—especially if it might not be fully supported underneath—particularly at the edges or corners.

Female logic looks like this: you see the house, mentally furnish it, and give the go-ahead. The rest is unimportant.

No, I’m talking about normal things: a large 3.5 m (11.5 ft) closet, and on the other side of the wall, there’s a 3 m (9.8 ft) bookshelf.
Of course, common sense says there’s nothing there, but then doubts arise again.

It doesn’t have to be a waterbed after all 😉

See, as soon as a design base is mentioned, fears resurface about waterbed installation 🙂
I’m talking about normal heavy items like these cabinets, which are a bit unstable, including me 🙂 I don't even count my three cats anymore.
Jokes aside. From what I understand, there are special anchors for wall hangers, for example, to mount a large TV on the wall. Or is there something else to consider here?
Otherwise, I can place everything on the ground floor. The previous owners had a solid basement constructed.
