Hello knowledgeable people,

I wanted to ask today which repair plaster you have had good experiences with.
It’s about patching holes and also larger areas in the basement. Ideally, the plaster should be smooth enough afterward so that you don’t have to skim coat it first, but can proceed directly with the primer.

Thank you for any tips

So this week we filled the joints in our precast concrete ceiling with Knauf Rotband. We still had to do a bit of additional plastering. What size are the holes?

Which Knauf Rotband do you mean?
There are quite a few types.

It’s not just a few anchor holes, but in some cases actual holes and areas that need to be filled or leveled.

If it is woodchip wallpaper, I would always choose acrylic paint. In the long run, you will benefit the most from that.
