Hello everyone,
We are currently in the process of purchasing the plot of land shown in the site plan. On this plot, we plan to build a single-family house with two full stories plus a basement, including a garage.
Attached is a preliminary floor plan, which was developed together with a prefabricated house manufacturer. However, we are still quite flexible. For the ground floor, we have created a second design because we now believe it makes more sense to separate the living area from the kitchen/dining area, rather than the kitchen from the living/dining area. This would also allow for the kitchen island layout that we find more visually appealing.

chand19865 Jan 2019 21:02Thermal radiation increases with temperature. Due to its large surface area, underfloor heating operates at the lowest temperature and therefore produces the least radiation.

We love the contrasts; our house as a building form is deliberately cool and modern, but inside it looks quite different. We blend the cool modern style with Bavarian charm in the cabin, lots of wood, planed flooring, natural wood edges, mixed with modern elements. The landscaping will also be more traditionally Bavarian with plenty of oak wood, a cottage garden, etc.
Once the cabin is presentable a few weeks after we move in (6 weeks ago), we will share photos of the interior... if anyone is interested at all.
