Hello!
I want to keep the option open to install a shower bathroom in the attic at some point.
The builder would prepare it for about 800 € (approximately $880):
-> Connections for cold water, hot water, and wastewater inside the shaft up to the attic, arranged in a loop system with threaded T-pieces sealed off, wastewater branch DN100 (about 4 inches) running above the rough floor with an end cap.

Is this price reasonable, or could I just have a 100mm (4-inch) KG empty conduit installed for around 350 € (about $385)?
Or would adding the other pipes and connections mentioned later through this empty conduit be too complicated and in the end much more expensive?
What would you decide if money were very tight?

Thanks for your assessment!

The price is set so that it is worthwhile for you and that the developer makes a good profit.

I'm not a good adviser when it comes to saving. That's why I didn't answer this question.

Have it done professionally, as being prepared with only a 100mm (4 inches) PVC sewer pipe is far from sufficient. You need connections for toilet waste, shower drainage, and water supply lines. Everything should eventually work with the existing connections. The price difference between 350 and 800 should not be a decisive factor here.

Hello,
if he already charges 350 euros just for an empty conduit (KG pipe), then I find 800 euros rather cheap. Definitely go for it!
But check if you won't run into problems with a very long ring main. (The water takes forever to get warm at the tap) or branch connections (where the water in the pipes can really stagnate).
Best regards, Andreas

I believe that the bathroom on the ground floor is or will be located directly below here, so a ventilation pipe with a diameter of 100mm (4 inches) must necessarily be routed above the roof.

For your shower, only a branch with a cap (material cost around 15 euros) is needed in this ventilation pipe, plus installation.

However, it should be considered that PVC sewer pipe might not be suitable. On one hand, because of sound insulation, and on the other hand, if a washing machine is connected, the PVC sewer pipe is not resistant to hot water.

Instead of T-pieces (due to water stagnation), there are flow-through wall connection elbows, which would be the correct solution here.
