ᐅ The screed is laid – should tiles be installed in the utility room due to the heat pump?

Hey,

the screed has been in place for 1.5 weeks. If nothing changes, the heat pump is scheduled to be installed in week 15. Tiles should be installed under the heat pump as well. My site manager mentioned that you could lay tiles there using a vapor-permeable adhesive. What do you think?

And if so, should the tiling be done only in the area of the heat pump or also in the utility room and the adjacent storage room?

Use an s2 adhesive, which is basically approved for use right after curing (usually specified from day 3 after screed application in the technical data sheet) and apply it initially only to the absolutely necessary area. Is it cement screed?

Wet-on-wet works. And after 1.5 weeks, it is still considered wet.

The reason is that I want to buy tiles today before the home improvement stores close, and the tiler—if allowed to continue working—will tile as long as he has time...

I’m not a tiler either, but ours estimated about 2 weeks.
