Hello,
I thought this would be a bit simpler when we decided to buy a room-air-dependent panoramic fireplace. It was clear from the beginning that we needed to install a pressure monitor, but I didn’t expect the construction company to be so uncooperative.
We tried to discuss with them the possibility of running the data cable from the technical room (basement) next to the chimney during the house construction, and additionally, to place the measurement tube from the chimney on the adjacent wall.
It’s almost impossible to get a clear answer on whether this will work. I feel like I’m the first person building a house who is dealing with this.
Who has experience with this and can advise what the best approach is? For the cable, we could have a conduit installed and connect it ourselves, but how should I handle the measurement tube?

We use the Leda Luc 2 as the negative pressure monitor. We get it from the chimney installer. The bus cable is supplied by the chimney installer to the electrician in advance, so everything can be prepared. Nobody has any issues with this. They have done it this way several times before. It is an architect-designed build and ultimately the general contractor was recommended / selected by the architect. The chimney installer was recommended by the architect and was actually the most competent of the three we consulted.
